The client need
Sun Life Financial wanted to showcase its focus on innovation by having one of its executives appear at an event in Vancouver, despite a scheduling conflict that had obliged him to stay in Toronto.
The solution
ARHT Media integrated a HoloPresence Display at the Vancouver event and had an executive from Sun Life captured and transmitted live as a hologram to the event from our Toronto studio. He was able to see the audience and interact with them in real-time as if he was attending the event and present in the room.
The impact
The audience attending the event was amazed at the realistic nature of the hologram and many attending were quick to shout out the technology online, helping drive social media engagement for the event. Sun Life Financial gained by being positioned as an innovative and tech-forward organization.
